ColdCallBlocker™ for Windows Mobile™ User Guide - Installation

Before installing ColdCallBlocker™ for Windows Mobile™ it is first necessary to download some pre-requisite software updates for Windows Mobile™. These updates are provided by Microsoft™ and include the .NET Compact Framework and a database engine that our application needs to make use of in order to operate correctly.

Different sets of files are required depending upon whether your phone is a Windows Mobile Standard™ or Windows Mobile Professional™ device so we have separate download pages on our web-site for those two types of devices. Generally speaking, if your Windows Mobile™ phone has a touch-screen then it is likely to be a Windows Mobile Professional™ device. Please note that ColdCallBlocker™ is not yet available for the newer Windows Phone 7™ devices.

Use your computer to download the required CAB files and then transfer all of them to your phone using a USB cable. All Windows Mobile™ phones include a file explorer application which should be used to find and run each of the CAB files that you have transferred. Do this to launch the application installer for each file in turn. Be sure to install the CAB files from Microsoft™ first, and then install the ColdCallBlocker™ CAB file.
