A small number of handset manufacturers actually prevent applications that have been installed by their customers
from interrupting the incoming call process.
Indeed, products such as the Apple™ iPhone™
immediately freeze all third-party apps when an incoming call arrives making it quite impossible
for consumers who own those devices to use a call-filtering application like ColdCallBlocker™.
By using the "Test" option on the main application menu
you will easily be able to test the compatibility of ColdCallBlocker™
with your Windows Mobile™ phone
by verifying that the application is able to control the incoming call process.
To use this feature, access the "Test Mode" screen and press the "Enable" option.
Immediately call your phone from another device or land-line.
If everything is working correctly then your phone should not ring and the call should be cut off.
When ColdCallBlocker™ is operating in test-mode it will appear on your device as follows:
If your phone does ring, then try one of the other interception methods as documented
in the Options Page of this manual.
Be sure to disable test-mode once you have finished checking application compatibility with your phone.
