| Nothing works. Acquired recommended modem passed all the the
installation checks and the incoming call displays as it is supposed to. There are no call log entries, commands in main menu grayed out. I can enter contact manually and enable filtering. Cold callers initiate "modem sound" but don't stop ringing. I'm using Vista and Windows7. Neither Works.

| Hello,
Thanks for your message. We'll do our best to help, but your description is very difficult to understand.
>Nothing works. Acquired recommended modem passed all the the

>supposed to.
Either "nothing works", or an "incoming call displays as it is supposed to", but it makes no sense at all to say both.
>There are no call log entries,
This is a known issue that is being discussed elsewhere in the forums but is proving very difficult to replicate so far. We are continuing to investigate these reports.
>commands in main menu grayed out.
Are you referring to the File menu on the main ColdCallBlocker window, or the right-click menu available from the ColdCallBlocker icon in the system tray? Regardless, I've just searched through the entire source code tree - ColdCallBlocker never disables any of its menu options at all. Whatever menu you saw, it didn't belong to the ColdCallBlocker application.
>I can enter contact manually and enable filtering. Cold callers initiate "modem sound" but don't stop ringing. I'm using Vista and Windows7. Neither Works.
It sounds like your modem, computer and ColdCallBlocker are all communicating correctly and your modem is answering if an unwanted call is received. Your telephone continuing to ring even after another device on the line has picked up the call is something we've never heard of before. It's almost as if your modem and telephone are on separate telephone lines. Do you have some sort of unusual phone line configuration, some type of Internet telephony product or anything other than a simple phone line splitter to attach your modem and telephone to the same line?
