I answered a call tonight and got a recorded message saying someone is trying to contact me via reverse charge call, press 9 to accept. The number was 0845 685 3000

Don't be tempted if you get such a call or you'll be hit with a premium call charge on your next bill.

Calls showing a Caller ID of 0845 685 3000 have been a problem for some considerable time now.

We're happy to report though that this number has been in the ColdCallBlocker database since 2005 so anyone with an active subscription will be at no risk at all from receiving (and paying those high-cost premium rates) for these calls.
